Located in the state of Bahia in northeastern Brazil, the Chapada Diamantina National Park has made a name for itself as a prime destination for natural wonders, geologic marvels, and exhilarating hikes. The park covers 375,950 acres, most with intriguing flora from the caatinga biome. The high-altitude savannah, Sincora Mountains, and rushing waterways all make for compelling sites and meaningful hikes.
Your program sets you in the middle of this rugged paradise, starting from thecolonial town of Lencois. With an early morning start, you will trek into the rugged landscape of the park and head for Aguas Claras. The invigorating and refreshing waters of this wellspring are a great place to enjoy a dip and appreciate the hike you have just completed. After a full day admiring the sights and sounds of the park, you will return late in the afternoon to culminate a fulfilling trip.
You will hike across the infamous flat plateaus that are dotted with lush vegetation among the desert plants that characterize northeastern Brazil. Traveling from the base of Morro do Pai Inacio, we will traverse the infamous foothills of Morrao. After this, we will reach Aguas Claras before hiking an additional two hours to the end of the trip.
This moderate hike spans roughly 18 kilometers, and a general fitness level is necessary. The terrain is rugged and wild, with an assortment of objectives and obstacles. The profound waterfalls along our trail will undoubtedly impress you and are considered the most popular parts of the hike.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
