Would you like to get started with canyoning and share a fantastic experience in nature with your family? Then come with me on this half-day program in Los Hoyos canyon, in the beautiful Valle del Jerte in Spain.

If you’re looking for a canyoning program for beginners, you’ve come to the right place. Situated in Valle del Jerte, in the Extremadura comarca, Los Hoyos is an ideal canyon for a canyoning initiation and a family experience. The route is short and easy and it doesn’t require a long hike from the starting point.

On this adventure, we’ll enjoy jumping, sliding and rappelling for about 2-3 hours inside the canyon. While canyoning, we’ll be surrounded by lovely flora, such as the beautiful local cherry trees, that bloom in spring.

As I mentioned, this program is ideal for beginners and it’s great to enjoy with your entire family. Although it’s not necessary to have any prior experience, keep in mind the children should be above 12 years old to join in.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
