Join me for this unique outdoor experience as we learn and hone our rock climbing skills in the stunning beauty of Serra da Estrela Natural Park in northern Portugal!
After meeting up, we will have a quick introduction to the function and purpose of all of the gear, then we will get out on to the rocks for some practice.
No previous experience is necessary for this trip, making it perfect for families and groups of friends.
Over the course of the day, we will learn several different climbing and abseiling techniques, rope control and equipment use. After a quick lunch on the rocks, we will challenge ourselves with some more climbing and attempt to the top of one of the innumerable cliffs in the park.
Once we have gotten to the top of one of these cliffs, you will understand all the fuss about rock climbing. The views across the park are stunning. You will want to stay and bask in the sublime mountains, lakes and valleys of the park all day.
However, we will unfortunately have to leave at some point. Once that time arrives, we abseil back down to the base of the cliff, pack up our gear and say goodbye.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
