Description
The Tijuca National Park, near Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is an amazing place. It is definitely worth a visit. And on this half-day tour, we would like to guide you through the park’s best spots.
This trip will last for approximately 4 hours and begins in Rio de Janeiro. From there, we will take a short trip to the park. Once there, we will make our way to the trail, while the guide will tell you all about the park’s vast array of wild life and plant life.
Along the trail, you will be immersed in an immense, and beautiful, nature area. You will see an array of amazing trees, like the giant jequitiba tree, along with assorted reptiles, birds and other amazing things. Furthermore, you will also have the opportunity to do some swimming in a natural lagoon, and bask in incredible views of Rio de Janeiro from Belvedere-Vista Chinesa.
This hike is not very difficult. The pace is casual and the trail is not arduous and there are no technical aspects to worry about. As a result, this trip is open to anybody.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
