Are you on your way to Panama? Then follow us to explore Panama’s (or the world’s) best jungle trail to the Lost Waterfalls in Boquete.

Close to the Boquete town, this incredible path will take us to three impressive waterfalls. They are all absolutely stunning and you’ll be able to swim in two of their pools. The path will take us through the middle of the jungle, where the city noises will be replaced with the sound of running water and birds. We’ll admire hanging vines, luscious trees, and huge leaves on the way.

To begin, we will go down a path that leads to a suspension bridge which we will cross. Then we will head to a cabin, where we’ll sign in and pay an entrance fee. The whole hike will take us around 3 hours to complete. Take into consideration that your shoes will get muddy. You can bring an extra pair to change once the hike is over.

The first waterfall is the biggest of the three and that is why some prefer to leave this one for last. Although it is not possible to dive into its pool, we’ll have a perfect platform to take some amazing photos. Waterfall two is thinner, but with a powerful cascade and a beautiful pool. Finally, the trek to the third waterfall is stunning and a bit more challenging. Although it is slightly steeper than the others, it is perfectly doable. However, you can choose to skip this one if you are not confident with uneven ground. The same path will take us back to the starting point.
