Description
Join us and discover the exceptional beauty of St. Croix on horseback! On this half-day tour we’ll explore the lush rainforest and sandy beaches on the western coast of the island.
There are many interesting species of plants and animals in the rainforest, so you’ll be happy to have a knowledgeable guide to identify them. You can expect to see gigantic rain trees with large canopies, mango and papaya trees, Tarzan vines and kudzu. With some luck, we may also encounter Red-tailed hawks, iguanas, zebra butterflies and mongooses.
The beaches are also a sight to see, with their pristine white sand and tall coconut trees. Ask your guide to capture the moment with a photo, as you’ll surely want to remember this spectacular tour.
We want everyone to have the opportunity to explore this gorgeous island on horseback, which is why we accommodate all levels of riders, including kids and older folks. You’ll be assigned a great horse, and beginners will receive instruction on reining, trotting and cantering during the tour.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
