Yet another one of the many beautiful trails you can enjoy on the island of St. Lucia, hiking on the En Bas Saut Trail in the Edmund Forest Reserve is a great way to spend a half-day.
A short trail, the En Bas Saut Trail is only 2.5 miles long each way. The round trip trek should only take approximately an hour. Thus making this excursion an easy fit into any vacation you may be taking to the island of St. Lucia.
There is much to see along the En Bas Saut Trail. Some examples include the Troumassee River, Mount Gimie, as well as 2 different waterfalls. You will also see plenty of birds, including the St. Lucian parrot, the St. Lucia black finch, the blue hooded euphonia, the mountain whistler and more. There are also plenty of ferns, gommier, mahogany and mahoe trees to admire as well.
The trail itself is not very difficult. However, there are many wooden steps that must be scaled before reaching the waterfall and natural pool. As a result, while you don’t require any prior trekking experience, you should be in good physical condition.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
