Join me on the most famous and amazing ski traverse in the world: the Haute Route from Chamonix, in France, to the city of Zermatt in Switzerland.
This 7-day famous ski tour links the two historical capitals of mountaineering, taking you from the impressive Mont Blanc in Chamonix to the legendary Matterhorn in Zermatt.
The fascinating Haute Route traverse crosses incredible alpine valleys, peaks and glaciers, with spectacular long descents on the most amazing mountain terrain. Every year, thousands of skiers from all over the world visit Europe to experience this unique ski tour.
The Haute Route is not only a a mountaineering classic but it also offers breathtaking scenery and top-quality snow, taking you through the most dramatic and highest peaks in the Alps. Needless to say, you need to have a good level of fitness and previous ski touring experience in all snow condition.
The route offers accommodation in comfortable high mountain huts, like the Argentiere Hut, the Cabane de Prafleuri or the Cabane des Dix. Every night we will be staying at a different refuge. You can check the day-by-day itinerary below.
