The cliffs, caves and beaches in Tinderbox Marine Reserve, near Hobart, Tasmania, are a truly majestic, relaxing and idyllic sight, and I will guide you on this kayaking day tour around the best of them, taking in the peaceful and picturesque scenery around us whilst looking out for the gorgeous animals that inhabit the area.

Tinderbox Marine Reserve is located in the Australian island state of Tasmania at the mouth of the Derwent River, just 20km from the state capital of Hobart, and is an immensely popular natural getaway for many people owing to its proximity to the city and its abundance of amazing scenery.

We will meet in Hobart in the morning, and from there it is just a short drive to our starting point, where all gear and information will be dispensed.

It is then time to start paddling, and over the course of the morning we will be kayaking amongst lovely and exquisite bays, gazing at the massive Alum Cliffs, observing the magnificent Bruny Island, and getting out of our kayaks and feeling the sand beneath our toes on one of the many sensational beaches that dot the coastline.

There is an opportunity to taste and sample some of the fresh local Tasmanian produce for lunch on one of these beaches, and afterwards we spend the afternoon keeping an eye out for animals such as sea eagles, stingrays and seals, with very lucky people potentially bearing witness to dolphins or whales.

There will be ample time during our trip to stop and take in the spectacular views, and you will want to make sure you take plenty of photos!

This adventure will make you want to keep coming back to this great part of the world see more of the raw natural beauty of Tasmania.

See the best that Tasmania has to offer via this fun day of kayaking – book now to get involved!
