Would you like to join an all-inclusive ski touring week in Austria? Then come with us this winter to the amazing Lesachtal Valley, where we will guide you and make sure you get the most out of your ski touring adventure!
This weekend program starts on a Sunday and ends on a Saturday. It’s a great chance to learn and practice new ski touring skills in the beautiful Lesachtal Valley, a nature haven for ski touring and for those who enjoy awe-inspiring views.
On the day we arrive, we will have a meet and greet at our accommodation. Then on day 2, after a delicious regional breakfast, we will warm up with some technique and equipment review. From days 3 to 6, we will ski to our hearts content during the day on guided alpine ski tours to summits in the region. In the evening, we will debrief and go over what we learnt an observed during the day. Finally, on the 7th day we will say farewell and depart. You can find a detailed itinerary below.
Keep in mind that although this is a ski touring program, we have designed it for you to have fun both on and off the slopes. Delicious cuisine, including Lesachtal bread for breakfast and typical local dinners, as well as a glass of wine in the evenings, are also part of the experience. The place we will stay in is cozy and inviting and also has a sauna to relax and recover in. You will be comfortable and warm at the end of each day.
Regarding the level, you will need to be physically fit and have some prior ski experience. We will show you the rest.

6 x nights in the Lodge. Accommodation in double rooms. Single rooms available for an extra charge in apartments with separate bedrooms and shared bathroom facilities

Day 2: Ski Touring training

Ski tour training program for an introductory tour on the subjects of “material”, “technology” and “safety”.
Debriefing or tour discussion with Pepi in the “Après Skitour Bar” of the hepi Lodge.
Approx. 18:30 regional dinner from Helene.
End the evening with a glass of wine.
Day 3 to 6: Ski touring days
Regional breakfast with Lesachtaler bread and much more
Guided alpine ski tour to a summit in the Lesachtal ski tour paradise
Debriefing with Pepi in the “Après Skitour Bar” of the hepi Lodge

I’m a IFMGA certified mountain guide and a nature lover. I was born in 1983 and I studied Cultural and social anthropology at the Vienna University.
Mountains, water, cultures have been always my passion. That’s why I’m a mountain, ski, canyoning and rafting guide, also a ski instructor and a snowboard enthusiast.
Helene and myself are the owners of the Hepi lodge. A space for mountaineers, climbers, skiing enthusiasts where besides offering the accommodation service we proposed varied programmes of different activities: rock climbing, ski touring, canyoning, hiking tours.
I guide most of my time in Lesachtal Valley: St Lorenzen, St Jakob, Birnbaum, Karnische Alps and Lienz Dolomites.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
