Would you like to explore a scenic area of the Dominican Republic on two wheels? Then come to Cabarete and join an expert local guide for a mountain biking tour in El Choco National Park!
Cabarete is a beach town in the Puerto Plata province, in the Dominican Republic. The center of this famous tourist destination is just 15 minutes from El Choco National Park, a natural area stretching 78km2. Featuring a wild tropical environment with lots of dirt roads, it is a perfect area for hiking and mountain bike adventures.
On this outing, we will explore a unique terrain under expert guidance. The routes cross mountain villages, tropical forests, beaches, rivers, waterfalls, and caves. Furthermore, you can stay for one or several days!
Keep in mind that this trip requires a good fitness level. However, you don’t need much biking experience: El Choco has trails for all levels.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
