The Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis, occur in the very north of the northern hemisphere when solar winds disturb charged particles in the magnetosphere.
These disturbances lead to a dazzling array of colours ranging from red and pink to yellow, green and blue. Few places on earth are better for seeing this incredible phenomenon than from Iceland.
So join one of our experienced and knowledgeable guides as we head out into the wilderness in order to try and catch a glimpse of this incredible occurrence.
Depending on the time of year, we will leave Reykjavik, the Icelandic capital, between 8:00 and 10:00 in the evening and head away from the light pollution of the city.
We will then spend the next three to four hours watching the night sky awaiting the Northern Lights to appear. Please remember, that they do not always do so and there is no guarantee that we will successfully see them.
So what are you waiting for? Book now for this incredible natural experience as we head out into the Icelandic countryside near Reykjavik to see the incredible Northern Lights!
