Paragliding above Zermatt from Rothorn (3100m)

Get ready for an exciting adventure! Join me for a paragliding trip above Zermatt, Switzerland from Rothorn, a popular spot among outdoor lovers.

Rothorn is located at an altitude of 3,100 meters in the Swiss Alps. It offers breathtaking views of some of the most beautiful mountains in the Alps and is a popular starting point for hikes in the summer and ski tours in the winter. Its peak is the Unterrothorn.

For this adventure, the take-off point is a few walking minutes away from the cable car station. During the winter, we can take off at any time and during the summer, it is preferable to leave early in the morning to avoid turbulence. The twenty-minute flight will take us over the stations Blauherd and Sunnegga to Zermatt, where we’ll land. It is a 1,500-meter (or 4,921-feet) vertical drop.

This trip is definitely not recommended for those afraid of heights!
