Description

Venture into one of the best rock climbing locations in Europe, the Pyrenees. Join me on this rock climbing week journey across some of its most incredible spots. Let me guide you through Cavallers, Estany Negre, the Ordesa Valley and Rodellar, amongst many other marvellous places.

The Pyrenees are the second biggest mountain range in Western Europe. Therefore, they offer endless rock climbing options. And on this rock climbing week, we’ll visit the best ones!

One of the best features here, is the hundreds of walls, rising above the 1,000 meters. Also, we’ll encounter limestone, as well as granite options, with a superb rock quality. What’s more, the weather is nicer, and the access much easier than the Alps.

Furthermore, we can find single and multi-pitch routes, ideal for different type of climbers. So, whether you are a beginner or an expert, looking to improve your techniques or for a new challenge, there’s a route perfect for you.

Another amazing feature is that we can climb all year round. So during summer, we can tackle areas like Cavallers, the Aigüestortes National Park, or even the Ordesa National Park. All of them offering ascents that range from 1,700 to 3,000 meters. And all of them combining long alpine routes, with sport and traditional ones.

Then, the rest of the year we can explore the Lleida Pre-Pyrenees, which stands at a lower altitude. It also offers medium sized walls rising up to 600 meters, and amazing multi-pitch bolted routes.

So, send me a request, and come with me on this rock climbing adventure. Explore the Pyrenees, while you enjoy some of its most breathtaking sceneries.

I also offer this rock climbing weekend in Girona (2 days), if you’re looking for a shorter trip.

Everything went exactly as planned and desired! We had a great day out climbing with Toti. He showed us around the area and gave us some great climbing tips!

Toti was incredible! He was very accommodating and found the perfect climbs for us based on experience and skill level. He also taught us both technical and physical skills that were extremely gratifying and memorable. He also taught us a lot about the local history of Montserrat while we hiked up to our climbs, which was both educational and entertaining! We would highly recommend climbing with Toti and now the bar has been set so high.

My 2 kids and I were very happy to climb with Toti. Toti is a fenomenal climber. Seeing Toti climb and learning from him was great. Between 3 of us we had different levels of climbing experience and Toti made it fun for all of us. At the end he gave us a challenge that we couldn’t accomplish. This was exactly what we asked for. At all times we felt very safe. We got unlucky with the weather. It rained that day in Montserrat. Toti found an area that did not get rained on. We started climbing but unfortunately later it started raining in that area as well. We met with our guid at the train station. The entire time prior to the trip we communicated through the chat on the Explore- share. The only concern I had was climbing shoes for kids. But Tori had some shoes that worked for them.

Can't honestly recommend this service. The guide (not Toti) showed up on two hours of sleep and struggled to put up 7a routes, even bailing halfway up a 6c that I subsequently finished. His knowledge of the areas was years outdated, so I chose my routes from the book, and my favorite climbs were in areas he told me were out of season but turned out fine. He was Facebooking the whole time and even made an (important) call while setting up a belay. He took plenty of pictures of himself but only one of me, when I specifically requested it. The posted charge was wrong, but by then I had already paid Explore-Share, and we ended up haggling on the hike out. He was a nice guy, he went to the areas I wanted, set up the routes, ticked the holds, and caught me, but this outfit needs to up their game on all the little things that separate a climbing partner from a climbing guide.
