Description

Rafting is an experience you will never forget. That is why we are happy to offer you this half-day rafting trip on the Lower Salt River in Arizona.

Located just outside of Phoenix, in the Tonto National Forest, the area you will be rafting through is stunning. Filled with sensational natural, desert landscape, you will get to bask in the beauty of the American southwest.

This rafting tour does not take place on any white water. Instead, it takes place on calm water. As a result, you will be floating at a casual pace. Thus giving you plenty of time to gaze and focus on the wonderful Sonoran Desert. Another great aspect of this leisurely trip is it is very family friendly. So, if you are looking to take the kids on a trip and show them nature at its finest, while also giving them the chance to have fun swimming, this is the trip for you. Our guides will also take the time to provide participants with plenty of information about the area and the wildlife populating it.

This tour runs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. It lasts from 2 to 3 hours and departs at either 8:00 am or 1:00 pm.

There is a minimum of 2 people required to confirm this tour.

Please call to inquire about prices for groups of 13 people or more.

In addition to the guiding fee, the price also includes bottled water, snacks, raft, paddles, life jackets and dry bags, round trip transportation, as well as National Forest entry fees.

This tour is available every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Participants should bring comfortable, weather appropriate clothing, shorts and a t-shirt, bathing suit, dry change of clothes, water shoes, sport sandals, no flip flops, sunglasses, sunscreen, lip balm, hat and medications.

All of our tours require 48 hour advance booking.

We'll need to know your height and weight in advance in order to fit you with the proper gear for this experience. Please also share your skill level with us upon booking so we can plan the itinerary accordingly.

Meeting point

Our office in North Scottsdale. This tour will depart at 7:00AM during the summer months.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!
