Are you looking for a thrilling rock climbing adventure in South America? Then join me for an amazing 6-day tour at the Quimsa Cruz, Bolivia!
The Cordillera Quimsa Cruz is a mountain range near La Paz. With some impressive peaks that surpass 5,000 meters, the area offers a hidden rock climbing paradise with all type of routes.
On this 6-day trip, we will explore the region and experience the exciting climbing spots of Las Tenazas, La Vertebra, Jardin de los Porotos and Cuernos del Diablo. Perfect granite spires and stunning views are guaranteed!
I can adapt the program to fit several rock climbing levels. However, you should be able to climb a minimal level of 5c (French grading system) and have a good fitness level.
This trip is ideal for climbers with significant indoor and sport climbing experience who want to try multi-pitch and even trad climbing. It is the perfect opportunity to improve your technique significantly in the company of an IFMGA guide.

Mountain Guide
I am a Swiss fellow who got trained as an evolutionary biologist (Msc), and briefly worked as a Bioinformatician, which was definitely interesting, but I have to acknowledge that I had a hard time spending every workday in front of a computer.
I live in La Paz since 2011, and dedicated myself to guiding since then. In the meanwhile I graduated as a IFMGA mountain guide, my specialties being rock climbing, skiing and mixed routes.
I won't be your cheapest option near La Paz, but I offer uncommon trips, love to share all the knowledge I acquired in the past decade, thanks to the languages I speak, and make sure people I guide spend a great time with quality services.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
