What are the best places for rock climbing in the Spanish Pyrenees? Join me on this 2-day program and I will show you to some of my favorite spots in the Tena Valley!
The Bachimaña mountain hut that lies at an altitude of 2.200 m of the Aguja de Bachimaña peak is a great starting point. Beautiful lakes surround this stunning location and make the climbing all the prettier. On this thrilling rock climbing adventure in the Tena Valley, I will show you the way to the best rock climbing spots of the region and we will stay overnight at this renowned mountain hut.
We will begin on the first day by meeting and going over equipment and safety issues. Then, we will try a test climb to measure your skills and start warming up. In the evening, we will arrive at the mountain hut and we will settle in and have dinner. On the following morning, we will set off on our rock climbing adventure and enjoy spectacular views of the surroundings.
Keep in mind that you need a good fitness level to join this excursion. Additionally, you will require some prior rock climbing experience. Of course, I will be there to help and guide you on the way.

Alfredo is a professional mountaineer and guide, very friendly and had far better English than our Spanish! Provided all the equipment needed and he has excellent local knowledge. We were a mixed family group and he put us all at ease making everyone feel confident with great safety and clear tuition. We cannot recommend Alfredo highly enough, this guy lives and breaths climbing and it was a pleasure to spend the day with him - we all had a great time and will be back again for sure!

Alfredo was an excellent guide - very helpful and flexible in organising our ascent of the Pic du Midi d'Ossau, set pace and technical level perfectly for our group (father and two teenage children) on the way up, and very good company on the way down :-)
