Would you like to discover one of the best rock climbing places in Spain? Then join me on a thrilling adventure in the Natural Park of Penyal d’Ifac in the Valencian community of Calpe!
Calpe is located in the province of Alicante, by the Mediterranean Sea. It is a beautiful community with many archeological sites and stunning views. At 332 m.a.s.l, the Penyal d’Ifac is an impressive limestone outcrop that rises from the sea and is connected to the shore by rock debris. It used to be the natural lookout for the inhabitants that lived in the surrounding areas. Today, it is home to rare plants and over 3oo animal species. Additionally, behind this stunning vantage point is a lagoon that stretches towards the coastal mountains. Needless to say, it is a unique rock climbing destination.
On this tailored adventure, we will have the chance to climb this emblematic limestone landmark. We will choose from one of the following routes: Valencianos, Diedro U. B. S. A, Costa Blanca, Navegantes, Gomez- Cano and others. I will be there to help and guide you every step of the way!

Alfredo is a professional mountaineer and guide, very friendly and had far better English than our Spanish! Provided all the equipment needed and he has excellent local knowledge. We were a mixed family group and he put us all at ease making everyone feel confident with great safety and clear tuition. We cannot recommend Alfredo highly enough, this guy lives and breaths climbing and it was a pleasure to spend the day with him - we all had a great time and will be back again for sure!

Alfredo was an excellent guide - very helpful and flexible in organising our ascent of the Pic du Midi d'Ossau, set pace and technical level perfectly for our group (father and two teenage children) on the way up, and very good company on the way down :-)
