Discover Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in a whole new way. Follow us for an exciting kayaking morning to Ilha Cotunduba and enjoy stunning views of the city.

Rio de Janeiro is Brazil’s most beautiful and famous city. It is warm year round and offers thousands of activities to enjoy the weather, from breathtaking beaches, fun tours, iconic and colorful attractions, impressive festivals, and a whole set of sports. You can kayak, bike, run, paraglide, swim, paddle-board or simply relax.

For this experience, we’ll depart from Rio de Janeiro towards Praia Vermelha (Red Beach). We’ll have a brief safety and technique explanation and then we’ll go into the water. The goal is to reach the Cotunduba island, which is part of an environmental protection area. You’ll get to learn all about its flora and fauna.

Along the way, we’ll get outstanding views of Rio, such as Copacabana, the Ipanema beaches, the Sugar Loaf, Tijuca Forest, Corcovado and Christ the Redeemer. We might even spot sea turtles and dolphins on the way. After a brief and relaxing stay on the island, we’ll paddle back to the starting point.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
