Ski Touring around the Villages of Zanskar, India, 20 days

A magical, spectacular region, Zanskar in India is a place you will never forget. Surrounded by enormous peaks, mountain passes and valleys, there are few, if any places quite like it. And for 20 days, you will get to explore this place, while enjoying plenty of fantastic skiing.

Often referred to as little Tibet, Zanskar is home to some breathtaking monasteries and lovely villages, many of which you will get to personally visit. Hence giving you so much more than great skiing because on this adventure, you will also get to immerse yourself in fascinating and beautiful culture.

There are many highlights that you will get to enjoy during this trip. Some examples include Leh, the Lingshed monastery and the village of Rangdum. However, one of the biggest highlights of this trip will be the sensational natural landscape that you will get to admire throughout Zanskar.

For the skiing portion of this trip, you are definitely in for a treat. The descents are long and exciting. And because the Zanskar area is so remote, the slopes are relatively untouched. Thus giving you a quiet, personal and memorable skiing experience.

It is important that participants on this trip are in good physical condition. You should also have previous ski touring experience in similar environments.
