Description
Kosciuszko National Park is one of the most beautiful and sensational natural areas in Australia, and nestled within is Thredbo Mountain Bike Park, a park full of riotous, fun, wild and thrilling mountain bike trails that I will guide you through, testing ourselves on the tracks of differing difficulty whilst taking in the absolutely amazing native Australian landscape around us.
Kosciuszko National Park is located in the Southeast of New South Wales, and is famous for containing the highest peak in Australia, Mount Kosciuszko, as well as for its gorgeous alpine scenery. It is immensely popular for outdoor activity enthusiasts, and the Thredbo Mountain Bike Park is renowned for its unique lift-accessed mountain biking.
Before we hit the trails, all relevant general and safety information will be dispensed, after which we can then ride to our hearts content.
There is a trail here for everyone, with gentle cross-country tracks such as the Pipeline Path and Friday Flat Loop providing fun for the whole family, whereas the variety of Gravity Trails are designed for thrill-seekers and experienced riders.
A highlight for many is the 10km All-Mountain Trail, accessible only by chairlift and a track that makes its way down through the mountainous landscape with sweeping panoramic views back over Thredbo Valley.
There is much lovely and superb native flora and fauna to admire in the park, with the vast tracts of vegetation covering the park providing an exquisite backdrop to proceedings.
After a whole day of mountain biking we finish our adventure, hopefully having been sufficiently thrilled to return to the park and take on more of the trails.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
