The lovely and lush terrain of Ranch Valley in Vermont is ideal for trail running. This sport involves running along different trails in the mountains. It is perfect for fitness and nature lovers that want to strengthen muscles and breathe in the green. From autumn to spring, we show you some of the best trails in Ranch Valley to get your body rock on!
The trail running excursion lasts 1,5 hours. In total, we will run between 3 to 5 miles, around 5 to 10 kilometers. First, we will warm up a bit. Then, we will really get the legs going and the heart pumping as we tackle some of the slopes in the area. In spring, we will run by budding blossoms and chirping birds that are busy preparing their nests. In summer, we will enjoy the fragrant greens. In autumn, our trail run will be framed by beautiful burning leaves in reds and oranges. Finally, once we finish working up a sweat, if you are brave, you can cool off in a crystal clear freshwater swimming hole!
Of course, a relatively good level of fitness is a must. However, prior experience trail running is not necessary. We will be there every step of the way to make sure you can keep going at a steady pace. We will also show you the most beautiful spots in Ranch Valley. All in all, the experience should give you the benefits of running with the added plus of exploring a beautiful natural location.
