Discover the natural wonders and rugged beauty of Puerto Rico and reach above the rest while hiking, rappelling, and zip lining among the mountains and rain forest. Visit all-year round for ideal conditions for aerial sports.
The archipelago of Puerto Rico is located in the Greater Antilles, and sandwiched between the US Virgin Islands and the Dominican Republic. Its most populous city and capital is San Juan, which has a population of just under 400,000. The former Spanish colony, now unincorporated territory of the US, is best known for its incredible beaches. However, there are plenty of other incredible outdoor adventures stretched across its landscapes of limestone cliffs and national forests.
The region here receives a subtropical climate with warm weather all-year round. The average daily temperature is about 29°C in lower elevations and 21 °C in the mountains. April to November is the wettest part of the year. And from June to November is hurricane season.
