Permíteme llevarte por 4 días increíbles en el corazón de los Alpes, para este tour de esquí de montaña Combin-Velan. Durante estos días, te guiaré a través de diferentes pasos, montes y picos, justo en la frontera de Italia y Suiza.

Primero, te encontraré en Courmayeur. Más tarde, revisaremos el Breafing de Noche sobre rutinas de seguridad, verificación del equipo y entrega de equipo de alquiler. Juntos, revisaremos tus objetivos para los días siguientes y evaluaremos nuestro itinerario basados en el pronóstico del tiempo.

El próximo día, nos trasladaremos a Bourg Saint Pierre, del lado suizo. Una vez allí, guiaré el ascenso hacia el refugio Velan (2,642 m). El ascenso durará entre 3 y 3.5 horas.

En el Día 2 en la montaña, haremos la increíble escalada al Mont Velan (3,731 m), para luego descender hacia el Glaciar Valsorey. Después de eso, ascenderemos nuevamente al refugio Valsorey (3,037 m) para pasar la noche. El tiempo total de escalada para este día será de entre 7 y 8 horas.

El Día 3 será un día intensivo de técnica en nuestro tour de esquí de montaña. Primero, subiremos al paso Meitin (3,611 m) con crampones. Luego, descenderemos esquiando lateralmente al refugio Panossiére (2,461 m) para pasar la noche.

Finalmente, en el Día 4, lideraré el ascenso al glaciar Corbassiere y la cumbre Combin de Corbassier (3,717 m). También pasaremos por el paso Panossiére (3,419 m). Nuestro último descenso del tour será a través del espectacular Glaciar Boviere, hasta Bourg Saint Pierre. Una vez allí, nos trasladaremos de regreso a Courmayeur. La próxima mañana, partiremos de Courmayeur.

I was born in 1966. I was an aspirant Mountain Guide from 1986 and a Mountain Guide (IFMGA) as from 1989. In 1988, I joined the Mountain Guides company of Courmayeur, which was the 1st Italian guiding company and the 2nd in the world in 1850. From 1995 to 2001, I had the role of leading guide with as main function the coordination of the work and the promotion of the guiding programs we were organising.
From 1986, I worked in the Mountain Rescue Team of the Aosta Valley. I became a Mountain Rescue Instructor in 2000. As a mountain guide, I practice a lot mountaineering, rock climbing, off-piste skiing, ski touring, snowshoeing, etc.
The past 22 years, I have climbed with my clients many classic routes in the Alps, of mixed, ice and rock; I have climbed the mountains of South America (Aconcagua in Argentina, Cordillera Blanca in Peru, trekking in Torres del Paine in Chile and Fitz Roy in Argentina, the slopes of Alpamayo Pequeno, Sajama, Huayna Potosi, in Illimani Bolivia, Cayambe, Cotopaxi, Chimborazo in Ecuador). Each year, I keep on travelling the Andes with clients and friends to discover new mountains to satisfy the desire of mountaineering.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
