We had a fantastic experience with Stavros as our mountain guide. He was highly professional throughout, making everyone feel safe and well-supported, especially during more technical scrambling sections. What impressed us even more was his strong sense of responsibility toward the mountain environment. After accidentally dropping his reusable water bottle down a steep section, he returned later with ropes to retrieve it, a small but powerful gesture that shows his respect for nature. Stavros is not just a guide, but a true guardian of the mountains. Highly recommended. 5

Stavros is amazing, he knows what he is doing so you”ll have the best experience while hiking and climbing! Safety comes first but when possible he is in for a good laugh aswel! 5
Thanos was an amazing Guide from the time he initially communicated with my wife and I, to the last minute when he returned us to our vehicle! We took the one-day private tour, which was more arduous, but Thanos again kept the pace slow and made the whole climb very memorable!5

The trip was very organised and professional. Stravos our guide was very helpful, kind, caring and professional. He looked after is all the way to the top and back down. 5

Stavros was our guide. He is very experienced with the mountain. He knows it well and safety is his first priority. I like that he limits the group sizes. He is likeable and we had a great group. People were genuinely excited about the hike and wanted to be prepared. Some suggestions for the future: 1) the welcome letter/package had a lot of information which was only sent out a few days prior to the trip. We could have used more time to prepare, digest the information and ask questions. On other hikes that I have participated in, we met the guide ahead of time which helped ease nerves and ensure that we were prepared ahead of time. 2) The second day is more intense than the first day. Many people were nervous about it. We all respond differently to different situations. I am the type of person that needs to talk through it. Some additional comfort from our guide would have been helpful to me. I was concerned about holding up the group. I knew that I didn’t want to make it to the top but, I didn’t want that to impact the experience for others. I was concerned about being isolated on the mountain with quick weather changes if I had chosen to stop. It would have been helpful to talk through what to do in the event of certain things like this. 3) the mountain is beautiful and for many of us it’s our first time seeing it. I understand that weather can change and that there may be good reason to keep a quick pace however, in rushing we end up missing out on appreciating where we are. Additional stops to take in the beauty of the mountain, rest and/or refuel would have been nice. Stavros is a good guide overall. These are suggestions to help enhance the experience for others.
