Highly recommend this Alps Adventures tour. An unforgettable experience from beginning to end. The transfer from Geneva airport to Randa by train was seamless with stunning views of Lake Geneva and an adventure even before the tour began! Tom Brodie, our tour guide provided an impeccably organized itinerary with challenging walking routes (all doable with a reasonable level of fitness) and breathtaking views of the mountains. His knowledge of the wildlife and fauna was extensive, and we spotted many indigenous species including chamois deer, marmots and the elusive wild edelweiss. We crossed suspension bridges and swam in one of the many wonderful lakes. Accommodation within mountain huts was exceptional and the food was plentiful and of a very high standard. We shared the tour with lovely like minded people and swapped many photos all of which tell a tale and will make me smile for years to come. Cannot recommend more highly.

I give this event 5 stars! First, the scenery is stunning. Second, our hiking group was diverse, intelligent, and fun. Also, AlpsAdventures' planning and scheduling was flawless. Most importantly, our guide, Guy Martin, was awesome. I especially want to thank him for keeping a close eye on me when I was a little sick on the trail one day. I highly recommend this company!

Fantastic 4 day hiking experience, our guide (Tom G) was brilliant, he seemed to have an answer for every question, be it about geology, flora, fauna, clouds, food recommendations etc, he was impossible to catch out. He was always kind and attentive making sure the whole group felt included. The actual tour was jaw dropping, great climbs, great views and a chance to make new friends. I would recommend this hike to anyone with a decent level of fitness, you don't need to be a mountain goat but you do need a good level of stamina and the ability to put one foot in front of the other for 30k steps per day, most of which is on an incline. Will definitely be back, thanks AlpsAdventures and special thanks to Tom G!

What an amazing trip with AlpsAdventures! They did a fantastic job of reorganising our Matterhorn trip after the unprecedented flooding in Zermatt. Tom promised that the scenery would be just as fabulous (albeit without the Matterhorn 😉) and he wasn't wrong. The solitude and quiet trails were an absolute bonus. Charles, our guide, was knowledgeable about the flora and fauna and very supportive during the more challenging parts of the trip. Despite visiting the Alps many times I'd never seen chamois, ibex, marmots or salamanders. Trip may only have been for 4 days but the memories will last a lot longer.

Matterhorn Highlights was my second hiking experience with Alpsadventures. I was very lucky to have Grigor as guide for second year in a raw. Grigor is very experienced, knowledgeable and extremely supportive to everyone. I wouldn’t make it without his encouragement and support. Thank you Grigor and Alpsadventures for the great memories I have from the trip. I certainly will return for another adventure with you.
