##### At 4,634 meters, Monte Rosa is an enormous, incredible peak. Located in the Aosta valley of the Italian Alps, people from around the world come to view, climb and ski on this amazing mountain. And on this weekend adventure, we would like to give you the opportunity to heliski on it.

During this trip, you will get to enjoy **multiple helicopter drops** on **Monte Rosa**. As a result, you will get to visit and enjoy parts of the peak that would otherwise be very difficult to reach.

While short, the helicopter rides are far more than just a means to an end. Instead, they give you an incredible chance to see not just **Monte Rosa**, but several peaks in the **Italian Alps**. You will also get to gaze at the beautiful **Aosta valley** as well, from a perspective that will take your breath away.

The runs on **Monte Rosa** are incredible. Long, exciting and unbelievably scenic, you will enjoy them immensely. And at the end of each day, you will get to rest and relax in comfortable lodgings. Monte Rosa Heliskiing Weekend in the Aosta Valley

#### An absolute thrill ride in every sense, this full day heliskiing tour on Monte Rosa (4,634m) will leave you breathless!

One of the _highest heliskiing tours in all of Europe_, on this trip, you will get to enjoy some of the finest, most remote slopes in the **Alps** at an altitude **exceeding 4,200 meters**.

Beginning in either **Gressony** or **Champuloc**, we will make our way to **Bettaforca**.  From there, we will take the helicopter up to **Lysjoch (4,248m)**. While the ride may be short, it is incredibly scenic, as you **circumvent the entire Monte Rosa massif**. Moreover, you will also get to admire the gorgeousness of the **Aosta valley**, one of the finest and most stunning areas in all of the **Italian Alps**.

From **Lysjoh**, you will get to ski along the incredible **Grenzgletscher** until you reach **Furi**. After that, we’ll make our way to **Cervinia,** taking advantage of the lifts until we reach the **Klein Matterhorn**. From there, we’ll make our way to the **Verra glacier** and enjoy a descent to the village of **Champoluc** before taking the lifts down to **Gressoney**. Thus concluding the adventure.

Full of beautiful scenery and great skiing, this **full day trip** will produce enough memories to last a lifetime. However, to participate, it is important that you have **prior off-piste skiing experience**. You also must be in **good physical condition**.

**There are so many dreamy heliskiing destinations in the Italian and Swiss Alps! In this program, I have selected a few spots of the best quality for your next heliski adventure.** 

We will spend 3 days (with 3 nights), preferably during the weekend, in one of these fantastic destinations. Heliskiing will allow us to reach more remote spots without the time spent ski touring, and will also provide an extra dose of adrenaline!

In Switzerland, my favourite options are:  
– Based in **Zermatt**, skiing on the Matterhorn and Monte Rosa  
– Going to **Arola**, explore Pigne d’Arola and the Petit Combin  
– Leaving from **Chamonix / Argentière**, we have the Swiss side of the Mont Blanc massif.

And in Italy my choices are:  
– **Valgrisenche**, to explore the Grande Sassière, Archeboc and Ruitor massifs  
– Using **Gressoney** as a base to heliski in Matterhorn and Monte Rosa  
– Going to **Sestrière** to ski at Valle Argentera and Bosco.

If you are looking for a different spot in the area don’t hesitate to ask me, as these are my favourites but the options are endless!

3-day heliskiing program in the Alps

#### **Let us invite you to this heliski tour in** Zermatt **that will take you among one of the greatest regions of the Italian Alps.**

The **Zermatt tour around Monte Rosa and Gressoney** is a great opportunity for **off-piste skiers** with previous experience. Besides that, you should be also in shape to tackle off-piste skiing up to 5.000 vertical meters per day.

The starting point of this tour will be in **Gressoney**, on the south face of **Monte Rosa**. According to the snow and weather conditions we can land our helicopter and ski on :

*   _**Colle de Lys**_
    
*   _**Colle Vera**_ 
    
*   _**Felikjoch**_**.** 
    

With the help of our qualified guides, you will enjoy the best ski runs according to your expectations and technical level. And once up there, we will live a first great descent over **the Grenz, Schwarz or Zwillings glaciers** with more than 2.000 vertical meters! Furthermore, during this descent you will enjoy the stunning **Matterhorn as a background**.

After that, **we will take a cable car from Zermatt to the Klein Matterhorn**. Here we will decide our second run of the day. The options are _Val di Vera_ or _the Cime Bianci._ Both of them have ski runs over 2.000 meters or vertical drop, leading down to **Champoluc**.

Finally, in **Champoluc** we will take another lift to get to **Gressoney** by late afternoon. Here is the end of such amazing **heliskiing** day**.** 

The best months to enjoy **heliskiing** in perfect snow conditions are **from December to mid-March**. We can take a **maximum of 4 participants** per guide. That way we can prioritise your security since every minute of your experience is vital to us.

### **We are happy to invite you to a heliskiing weekend on the sunny side of the Monte Rosa.**

During this weekend, we’ll overfly and ski in an amazing area which extends from the Matterhorn to the **southeast side of Monte Rosa**.

This stunning region has **more than 20 landing sites**, around 60 ski runs and a unique alpine scenery. In Monte Rosa everyone finds the perfect terrain and lives a different experience every new day.

From **December to mid-March** you can find here the best powder snow conditions. Ideally, each guide leads a group of no **more than 4 guests.** That allows us to offer a maximum of flexibility since every minute of your experience is vital to us.

All participants **must be safe off-piste skiers** in all snow conditions. It’s also mandatory to be fit enough to face pistes up to 6,000 vertical meters each day.

As for the hotel accommodation, we can suggest 3 comfortable and warm hotels: the Dufour, the Nordend or the Gletscher.

The **3-star Dufour Hotel** is close to the ski lifts of Gressoney (Punta Jolanda) and offers luxury rooms, suites and a spa area. All the rooms have TV, telephone, bathroom and some of them a private Jacuzzi. The hotel’s restaurant serves excellent Italian cuisine.

The **3-star Nordend Hotel** is located in Staffal (a 5-minute walk from the ski lifts). It also has a spa area and modern rooms with TV, telephone and bathroom. The nearby restaurant da Giovanni serves excellent Italian meals.

Finally, **the 3-star Gletscher Hotel** is near the cable cars as well. It has 12 nice double rooms with private bathroom and TV. There is a spa, with a Turkish bath, a Finnish sauna and a Kneipp bath. The breakfast buffet provides the necessary energy for the skiing days.

Meeting point

Every day will depend on snow, weather and avalanche conditions. In case of bad weather we will go off-piste skiing. After the last skiing day, we will return the rented equipment and travel back home.
