How to get there:
Most trips to the US Virgin Islands begin with a flight into either the Cyril E. King Airport (STT) on St Thomas, or the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport (STX), on St Croix. From here, it is easy enough to rent a car or take a combination of transports and ferries to the start of the trip
Situated at the northwestern end of the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean Sea, the US Virgin Islands are the perfect spot for all sorts of great mountain biking adventures. The southernmost and largest of the US Virgin Islands, St Croix, is also one of the top spots for mountain biking enthusiasts. Heading from the main city on the island to the easternmost Point Udall is among the most popular routes for mountain bikers, taking them past beaches and along some hillier trails. Another popular option is to cycle to the north of the island, passing through more hilly terrain, forests and beaches en route to the iconic Ham’s Bluff lighthouse.
