1+ day Freeride skiing at Le Grand Bornand, near Annecy

I invite you to spend one or more days freeriding in the beautiful Grand Bornand. Discover this beautiful destination of the French Alps avoiding the crowded spots of the most popular resorts.

Le Grand Bornand is one of the main ski resorts in the Annecy district, named after the river that runs through it. Located near Annecy, Le Grand Bornand is part of the Aravis mountain range, in the Haute-Savoie department.

The pistes of the ski resort have plenty of options for beginner skiers, and there are some great runs for intermediate and advanced skiers. But in this case, we will go off-piste, so you should have at least an intermediate ski level.

Winters here are cold and snowy, so we will enjoy great terrain when skiing! We will explore different areas depending on the conditions and your level. In particular, we can go to the Espace Freeride at La Combe de l’Envers. Another highlight is the Maroly Valley. And if you have enough freeride experience, we can explore Mont Lachat and the Annes pass. As you can see, there are plenty of freeride options!

During this program we will refresh some safety techniques. We will focus on improving freeride skiing skills, and of course on having fun! I will design the exact program depending on what we discuss, as well as on the weather conditions.
