The Vallée Blanche is the most well-known off-piste ski route in the world. Situated in the Chamonix Valley, this off-piste run is especially visited by ski lovers who dare deal with its challenging slopes. Have the courage to try this adventurous experience and get to know bold corners you would never reach on your own!

This 1-day freeride skiing program at the Vallée Blanche —part of the imposing Mont Blanc range in the French Alps— is the perfect opportunity to improve your technical skills by learning from a local guide who will take you through off-piste paths in a safe way.

You can access this area either from France, through the Aiguille du Midi cable car, or from Italy, through the Helbronner cable car.

The terrain includes some glacial sections with crevasses, so it’s important to bring your avalanche kit and a harness. I’ll also be equipped with ice axe, crampons and a rope in case it’s necessary to belay.

During the descent we’ll get to Requin Hut, a good place to enjoy a good meal. From here, you will experience a final drop passing through La Mer de Glace glacier. You’ll also pass Montenvers train station, so you will have the chance to reach Chamonix by train or ski back to the ski resort after a 20 minute walk up.

Join me in this freeride skiing program at Vallée Blanch and enjoy the wilderness of the French and Italian Alps. Don’t miss this opportunity to progress and get to know new challenging routes. Request to book this trip!

What people are saying about Stefano

The day was great, we felt safe, Stefano was responsive to our request, our pace, etc. The only thing that could have been improved was the communication before getting to Italy. I had a hard time deciding on what was appropriate for the level of our group, gauge how long and how hard the different options were with the limited info that was given to me.
