Description

Perfect for the completely uninitiated, this full day rock climbing adventure will focus primarily on teaching you the fundamentals. And you will get to learn those fundamentals in the beautiful Budawang mountain range in New South Wales, Australia.

Famed for its stunning natural landscapes, Australia is a paradise for great rock climbing, as the views you get are tremendous, not just of the land, but of the Pacific ocean as well. And they only get better the higher up you go. However, in order to reach those heights where you feel as if you can see the entirety of New South Wales, you first have to learn how to do so properly and safely.

A lot will be covered during this day long excursion. Some examples include basic rope work, safety skills, how to efficiently move over rock, and much more.

Our goal over the course of the day is to instill new skills that will help you begin your journey of being an adept rock climber. Thus giving you the chance to literally reach new heights on beautiful rock cliffs in the future.

Since this is an introductory level rock climbing course no prior experience is necessary. However, rock climbing is a physically demanding activity, so you should be in good physical condition.

Over the last 20 years I have been extremely fortunate to travel the world, working and pursuing my passion for outdoor adventure, specifically climbing, hiking, and kayaking.

Where I am located on the South Coast of NSW is a geographic gem for outdoor exploration, with a lifetime of adventure just a short drive from the beautiful beaches and picturesque town of Milton.

I have worked in the outdoor industry for 15 years hold qualifications from the Australian Climbers Instructors Association and British Mountaineering Council as well as holding current wilderness and advanced first aid certificates.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
