Description

Situated in the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park, in the Spanish province of Huesca, Aneto Peak is the tallest mountain in the Pyrenees. At an altitude of 3,404 meters, it is in the Benasque Valley and belongs to the Maladeta Massif.

This mountain is a very popular destination among mountaineers. On this opportunity, I offer you the chance to climb it through a less common route. First, we’ll drive from Benasque to the Pescadores hut and get to the Coronas Lakes. From there, we’ll go through the ridges of Aneto, our route to the summit. After,  we’ll return to Benasque.

In addition, you can choose to have an acclimatization ascent the day before the big climb. On this extra day, we’ll also check the equipment and prepare for Aneto Peak.

Take into account that this is a challenging mountaineering program. Therefore, it is important to have background experience and a very good level of fitness to join.

If you think this program is ideal for you, then send the request now and book your place. I will be glad to guide you on this adventure to the top of the Pyrenees!

You can also take a look at my mountaineering program in Naranjo de Bulnes, a very popular mountain in Spain.

Mountain Leader

My name is Picus Mazarredo and I am a sports technician in high mountain and sports technician in Climbing.

My passion has always been the mountain, as a child I remember the walks through the Pyrenees as something that has marked my life.
Trekking, snowshoeing and especially climbing, making ridges or ferratas is what I like the most and that is why I decided to make it my profession.

Since these studies did not exist in Valencia, I had to go out and look for them. This led me to study the Certificate of Initiation to the Mountain in Barcelona and later the Sports Technician of Media Mountain in Benasque where I stayed for a few years working as a guide in the Pyrenees.
Later I studied the Sports Technician in Climbing and I am currently studying with the Superior Sports Technician in Climbing.
