The incredible Galayos is one of the best granite climbing regions in Spain. Its maze-like spires follow a long ridge ranging from 4,000ft to 7,200ft.

With an abundance of stunning scenery, classic routes and quality rock granite, the Galayos is an alpine rock climbing paradise.

It is located on the south slope of the Sierra de Gredos, a mountain range in central Spain that extends into the provinces of Avila, Salamanca, Caceres, Madrid, and Toledo. It is one section of the much larger mountain range of Sistema Central.

We will climb to one of the most representative spires along the Galayos, including El Torreón, La Aguja Negra, El Gran Galayo. All tracks range from 100m to 300m and can accommodate all levels of ability.
