When we talk about freeride or off-piste skiing, Chamonix is a place that always comes to mind. During this trip, we will go the the beautiful Grands Montets, a large ski area near Chamonix with extraordinary landscapes.
In particular, this trip is great for beginners in off-piste skiing. An ideal initiation to this fantastic practice!
During this trip, we will cover how to:
– Progress off-piste
– Assess and manage the risks associated with this practice
– Use the transceiver, shovel and probe
Even though the minimum number of participants is 4, don't hesitate to register if you are alone. I will put groups together.

The price does not include the guide´s expenses (accommodation, meals, lift tickets, etc).
We meet at 8:45AM in Chamonix, then transfer to Grands Montets.
Today is an initiation to off-piste skiing in the magnificent Grands Montets (excluding the glacier). This resort is world-famous for its off-piste quality.
I will teach you the techniques to progress off-piste in an exceptional environment.
We meet again at 8:45AM for the second great ski day.
Today we go to Brevent (just above Chamonix), where we will ski facing the sun and the Mont Blanc: a breathtaking panorama!
The junction with will enable us to evolve in a multitude of different slopes and snow.

Sébastien is originally from Toulon. Before he dedicated his time fully to his passion, mountaineering, he has completed a degree in Alpine Geography.
His thirst for adventure took him from countries such as Turkey and Peru to the high mountains of Pakistan .
Since 2000, he work as a Mountain Guide in Chamonix, La Clusaz and all over the world.
