Description

If you’re looking for a great hiking adventure near Sydney, then look no further because this is it. Join one of our experienced guides on a two-day adventure along the stunning Coast Track in the Royal National Park.

This is an experience for the ocean lovers because you get to hike along kilometre after kilometre of spectacular coastal trail. You’ll be able to do some birdwatching along the way, and if you’re really lucky you might see some whales.

We’ll set out in the morning from Sydney on day one, aiming to get to Otford at around lunchtime to start our hike. On our first day, we’ll hike for around 8km until we reach the North Era Campground which overlooks North Era Beach. That will be our home for the night and where we’ll enjoy dinner before falling asleep to the soothing sound of the ocean.

We’ll be early to rise on day two. It’s a big walking day where we’ll cover around 20 km heading north to Bundeena. When we get there we’ll get a ferry on our way back to the city.

Itinerary

Day 1: Day One

We’ll pick you up in Sydney and together we’ll travel to the start point of our hike, Otford. We’ll hike along beautiful coast until we reach our camp where we’ll sleep for the night.

Day 2: Day Two

After an early start we’ll continue our northbound hike. Along the way we’ll take breaks for photos and to admire the beauty of the landscape. When we arrive at Bundeena, we’ll take a ferry to Cronulla. From Cronulla we’ll drop you back to your accommodation.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
