Description

Come to Keswick for an exceptionally fun and exciting day of climbing Via Ferrata as well as partaking in another excellent activity!

We’ll start our day with the three hour, or so, climb. After strapping ourselves in, we have the options of taking one of two different routes up the mountain: the easy one and the extreme one.

Once we’ve made it all the way up to the summit, we will enjoy a lovely view and hike back down to the bottom. The Via Ferrata is pretty easy to do (unless the weather doesn’t cooperate), but you do need to be a minimum of 1.3 meters tall to do it.

After this, it is time for our second activity and it’s up to you (or the weather) to decide what we do next. We’ll have the option of rock climbing, abseiling, hiking and canoeing. Each of these activities is extremely fun, especially around Keswick, and there are plenty of excellent spots all around in which to do them.

So what are you waiting for? Book now for action packed, multi-adventure day as we head up a Via Ferrata in the morning and try out another activity in the afternoon, all in the beautiful surroundings of the Lake District!

If you like the look of this trip then I think you will also enjoy my multi-adventure day of canoeing, climbing Via Ferrata and abseiling, also in the Lake District!

Had a great day out with my instructor Paul who was very helpful in introducing me to trad climbing and getting me to be very comfortable on the rocks. We did six 1-pitch climbs and one multi-pitch climb while enjoying the phenomenal view of Langdale amongst many Herdwick sheeps. Would have extended the experience if I had more time and definitely would do it again.
