Description

Situated in the remote wilderness of northwestern British Columbia, the Skeena Mountains serve as the perfect spot for a classic heli-skiing adventure!

Join us and over the course of three days, we will head out into the remote mountains around this tiny hamlet of Terrace and enjoy the copious amounts of pristine powder that are dumped here by Mother Nature each year.

Each day we will head out in the helicopter to explore the 5,500 square kilometers of skiing and snowboarding terrain that we can reach within the Skeena Mountains. Depending on weather and snow conditions, our knowledgeable guides will be able to find the perfect spot so that we can enjoy as many runs as possible.

While we're out into the backcountry, breathe the crisp and clean air, enjoy the empty wilderness and make numerous long and incredible descents. After getting dropped on mountain summits and enjoying spectacular views, we will race down high-quality powder and through old growth forest until we reach the valley floor and do it all over again.

If the weather decides not to cooperate with us and we cannot safely fly, then we will head into the snowcat instead and check out some of the excellent mountain options around the lodge.

Regardless of where we go, the scenery will be spectacular and skiing even better!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
