Description

Have you always wanted to go backpacking in the Grand Canyon? If yes, then join me on this 3-day adventure to Indian Garden!

Famous for being America’s jewel, The Grand Canyon is located in the state of Arizona, which is in the southwest part of the United States. It is revered for its red rocks, bright blue rivers and anthropological relics, all of which you will get to see firsthand.

We will begin this trip hiking 4.8 miles into the canyon, descending 3,000 feet in so doing. We will eventually arrive at our campsite, set up our tents, and then head out for a 1.5 mile hike to the Plateau Point to enjoy a stunning sunset view. The next day, we will rise early to get to the electric blue Colorado River, and pass plenty of waterfalls along the way. Once there, we will enjoy a picnic lunch and marvel at the beauty of the region, before setting up camp. On our final day we will ascend 3,000 feet over the course of 4.8 miles to reach the Canyon’s South Rim, where we will end our hike.

This trip is of a 3-day duration, therefore a great activity for a long weekend. Given that it is of an intermediate level of difficulty, it could also be the perfect trip to enjoy as a family (or as an individual or in a group).

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!
