3-day Ski touring along the Haute Route

The Haute route is a famous 180 km long ski touring and hiking route in the stunning Alps. In its classic form, it goes from Chamonix in France and Zermatt in Switzerland, but many variations are possible!

We will begin our trip in Chamonix, France, about 50km southeast of Geneva. During this excursion we will traverse long stretches of glaciers and valleys that carve through endless giant mountains.

We will split the classic route into 2 trips, meaning that those who would struggle to complete it in one can still experience the magic of this route.

We will be skiing roughly between 4-6 hours per day, while staying in alpine huts that are strategically located along the path and that fully cater to your needs.

On the first day, we will meet at your chosen location and organise all the equipment. Then we will ski in the resort to settle in, get to know each other and discuss the route.

On the second day we begin the ski tour and head towards our first hut. The terrains we will be passing through are some of the most stunning landscapes in the world and there will be endless epic views!

On the third day, setting off from the hut, we will continue touring and begin our descent towards Zermatt, Arolla or Champex.

The beauty of this trip is our ability to chop and construct our own customised route. This trip requires that you have a high level of fitness (you should be comfortable running a half marathon in 2.5 hours). You also need to be a skilled off piste skier.
