Description

This 3-day sport climbing trip in the Cantabrian mountains will take you to the best routes in northern Spain!

The Cantabrian Range is one of the major mountain ranges in Spain. It stretches for more than 300 km across the north of the country, from the Pyrenees in the east, along the Canrabrian Sea al the way to the Sistema Ibérico in the west.

There are lots of outdoors activities to practice in this landscape: from skiing in winter to hiking in summer, but the best of the all is for sure Sport climbing!

These mountains have many climbing routes, from the most challenging in Spain to some of the most basic ones. So there’s something for everyone.

There are lots of hidden routes, that few of us know, and I can take you to all of them. Plus, due to it’s northern location we can practice this sport during the summer months because the weather is not as hot as other regions.

The plan is to spend the three days climbing different routes, according to your level, goals and expectations! I can help you find your accommodation if you want me too, I know some great places where all the rock climbing lover stay and share their adventures.

So please send me a request for this amazing 3-day sport climbing trip in the Cantabrian mountains, I guarantee you’ll have a wonderful time.

I’m already fully booked for the 2018 winter season. Book in advance for 2019!

Mountain Leader

AEGM-UIMLA Guide from Spain

I did my first steps as a mountaineer as a teenager in Madrid. But the desire to enjoy all the possibilities given by the mountains convinced me to move to Benasque valley, at the heart of the Pyrenees.

Along the years I did several winter and summer activities not only in the Pyrenees, but also in Picos de Europa, Sierra Nevada, Sistema Central...

One of my passions is to travel and discover new places and cultures, so I did climbing trips to other European countries, USA, Canada, Morocco, India, Nepal, Kirguistán... This trips gave me a priceless experience that made me grow as a climber, and set the stone to my formation as professional mountain guide.

I now live in Cantabria, and usually guide both in summer and winter in the Cantabrian range.

My guide, Fran, was top-notch. Super friendly and really knew his stuff. He was fantastic at tailoring our climb based on my expectations and what I could handle and - he nailed it. Also, he communicated in English really well. On the second day we chatted away like old friends. I had an awesome time and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a personalised climbing experience.
