Explore the stunning central French Pyrenees on a unique adventure. Follow me for a  round 5-day experience on amazing skiing routes, starting from and ending at Pont d’Espagne.

One of the great things about the Pyrenees is that there are fewer skiers in than in the Alps. Therefore, we can enjoy the place and the skiing routes more comfortably. On this trip, we’ll explore some of the best runs in the area and go up spectacular peaks. Along the way, we’ll go through beautiful lakes, forests and incredible powder snow. Additionally, we’ll also sleep in remote mountain huts to enjoy this experience at its fullest.

My proposed itinerary is as follows:

Day 1: Pont d’Espagne – Wallon Refuge

Day 2: Wallon Refuge – Pic Cambales (2,960m) – Wallon Refuge

Day 3: Wallon Refuge – Col Marcadau – Bachimaña Refuge

Day 4: Bachimaña Refuge – Col Tebarray – Respumoso Refuge

Day 5: Respumoso Refuge – Col Gran Facha – Refuge Wallon – Pont d’Espagne.

We can also visit the hot springs at Cauterets for a relaxing time before going back home.
