Are you up for a fabulous heliboarding experience? You should try this 7-day trip in the Kaçkar Mountains with an expert mountain guide!

The Kaçkar Massif is one of the most important group of mountains in Turkey. Mount Kaçkar (almost 4,000 m,) is its highest peak.

This region is a natural paradise with steep cliffs and dense forests. The proximity to the Black Sea provides a nice and humid weather, which guarantees abundant snowfall during the winter.

Skiers and snowboarders will enjoy an unforgettable experience! We will fly over the mountains having the most amazing views: mountain peaks rising above lakes, rivers, glaciers, and forests. When the helicopter lands, we will ride on top-quality powder snow.

You will have the privilege of splitboarding in a small group of 4 people. We’ll have more than 1,700 square-km to explore and 20,000 meters of vertical drops to spend.

On the other hand, our accommodation will be the Hasimoglu, a three stars hotel located in Ayder. The rooms are equipped with private bathroom, TV, minibar, telephone and Wi-Fi. The hotel also offers a bar, billiards, massage service and a projection room. The kitchen offers varied and high-quality meals.

And if all this is not enough, the thermal baths are just two minutes away from the hotel. During your stay, you can also enjoy the benefits of this 40°C natural spring water.

Refund if we don't reach 20,000 meters of descents: 80EUR per 1'000 m.

This package includes accommodation in a standard double room. You can stay in a single, luxury or suit room for an additional charge.

Itinerary

Day 1: Getting to Ayder

First you will fly from your departure city to Istanbul. From there you will take another flight to Trabzon (1h 45m) and we will transfer you to Ayder (2h). Once in the hotel we’ll do the paperwork and we’ll have dinner.

Day 2 to 6: Heliboarding adventure

After providing the safety information we’ll get on the helicopter to begin the heliboarding adventure.

Day 7: Last heliboarding day and transfer to Trabzon

The last day, after heliboarding we will transfer you to Trabzon. You will spend the night in a hotel near the airport.

Day 8: Going back home

We will get you to the Trabzon airport so you can go back to Istanbul or to another city.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
