Are you up for a unique experience? You should try this 7-day heliskiing tour around the Kaçkar Mountains under the most professional guidance!

Turkey is a mountainous country, with 80% of its territory above 500 meters. The Kaçkar Massif is one of the most important ones in the country, with Mount Kaçkar (almost 4,000 m) its highest peak.

This area is a natural paradise with steep cliffs and exuberant forests. The climate in this region is humid because of its proximity to the Black Sea, which guarantees abundant snowfall during the winter.

What I offer you is to live an unforgettable heliskiing experience! As we fly over the mountains, you’ll enjoy the most amazing views of the massif: mountain peaks rise above lakes, rivers, glaciers, and forests. And when the helicopter lands, you’ll get to ski on top-quality powder snow! We will find both steep and open slopes, as well as super fun wooded areas.

The Kaçkar mountains are still home to a rich wildlife: it would not be unusual for us to run into some bears during the tour.

You will have the privilege of skiing in a small group of just 4 people. We’ll have more than 1,700 square-km to explore and you’ll enjoy 20,000 meters of vertical drop during these amazing 7 days.

On the other hand, our accommodation will be the Hasimoglu, a three stars hotel located in Ayder, which was completely renovated in 2016. The rooms are equipped with private bathroom, TV, minibar, telephone and Wi-Fi. The hotel also has a bar, billiards, massage service and a projection room. And you do need not worry about the food: the kitchen offers varied and high-quality meals that I’m sure you’ll enjoy.

And if all this is not enough, the thermal baths are just two minutes away from the hotel. During your stay, you’ll also enjoy the benefits of this 40°C natural spring water.

Price details

Refund if we don't reach 20,000 meters of descents: 80EUR per 1'000 m.
This package includes accommodation in a standard double room. You can stay in a single, luxury or suit room for an additional charge.

Itinerary

Day 1: Getting to Ayder

First you will fly from your departure city to Istanbul. From there you will take another flight to Trabzon (1h 45m) and we will transfer you to Ayder (2h). Once in the hotel we’ll do the paperwork and we’ll have dinner.

Day 2 to 6: Heliskiing adventure

After providing the safety information we’ll get on the helicopter to begin the heliskiing adventure.

Day 7: Last heliskiing day and transfer to Trabzon

The last day, after heliskiing we will transfer you to Trabzon. You will spend the night in a hotel near the airport.

Day 8: Going back home

We will get you to the Trabzon airport so you can go back to Istanbul or to another city.

After having guided for over 10 years in Verbier, we decided to establish a guide's office that allows us to sell trips, ski touring days, heliskiing here and elsewhere, mountaineering, and all those things that are possible to do with a mountain guide.
We are also colleagues in the specialized team of rescuers "Maison FXB Rescue" and it is with pleasure that we offer advanced training courses, avalanche courses, crevasse rescue, the management of injured people…
From all this, the main objective is to enjoy as much time as we can in the mountain with you in the most beautiful places in the world with a single slogan: “Safety!”
