Join us on a 10-day grand adventure as we embark on the Nanga Parbat Base Camp and Hunza Gojal Valley Trek in Pakistan. Witness incredible views of alpine forests, the beautiful Himalayan valleys, and snow-covered peaks and as you hike to the base camp of the ninth highest peak in the world.
Nanga Parbat(8,126 m ) is considered the western cornerstone of the Himalayas. Hiking to the base camp of this Himalayan beast is one of the most popular treks in Pakistan.
We’ll begin this journey from the capital city of Islamabad. Driving on the Karakoram Highway along the Indus river, we’ll head towards the town of Chilas. You’ll enjoy the ride through the scenic roads of Pakistan.
The trip involves a trek to the picture-perfect grasslands of Fairy Meadows. We’ll begin towards these lush green pastures from Tattu village. After a trek of about 2 hours, we’ll reach these gorgeous Meadows. This place offers sunrises and sunsets both of which are equally spectacular.
Next, we’ll head towards Beyal, a quiet campsite on the way. You’ll notice that as we move further, the lush green alpine forest gives way to rocky terrain covered in snow.
The hike to Nanga Parbat Base Camp is a just few hours from Beyal. And once you reach the basecamp, you’ll be awe-inspired. The view is exceptional and the silence of the wilderness is punctured only by the occasional sounds of falling snow.
Our return journey includes another day of relaxation at the Fairy Meadows. It is an excellent spot to click a few pictures or pen down your reflections. Again taking the Karakoram highway, we’ll return to Islamabad, marking an end of this remarkable journey.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
