5-day Trek in the Deosai National Park in Pakistan, from Skardu

The second highest plateau on Earth, the Deosai Plateau in Pakistan is a truly amazing area to explore. And, on this 5-day trekking adventure, you will get to hike through the Deosai National Park, from Skardu.

The longest and most barren pass in the Himalayas, and also known as the Roof of the World, the Deosai Plateau is full of rounded hills and pastureland. There are also an abundance of high grass, various flowers and marmots, all at an altitude of approximately 4,000 meters.

Our adventure will begin in Skardu. After that, we will venture to Ali Malik Mar, which you will get to explore. From there, we will visit BuraPani, where, if you’re lucky, you can see a Himalayan Brown Bear. The next location will be visiting and enjoying are Chilam. On the way, we will go to the top of the Chachor Pass (4,266m). Finally, from Chilam, we will go to Chilas via the Astore Valley.
