### **The second highest plateau on Earth, the Deosai Plateau in Pakistan is a truly amazing area to explore. And, on this 5-day trekking adventure, you will get to hike through the Deosai National Park, from Skardu.**

The **longest and most barren pass in the Himalayas**, and also known as the **_Roof of the World_**, the **Deosai Plateau** is full of rounded hills and pastureland. There are also an abundance of high grass, various flowers and marmots, all at an altitude of **approximately 4,000 meters**.

Our adventure will begin in **Skardu**. After that, we will venture to **Ali Malik Mar**, which you will get to explore. From there, we will visit **BuraPani**, where, if you’re lucky, you can see a **Himalayan Brown Bear**. The next location will be visiting and enjoying are **Chilam**. On the way, we will go to the top of the **Chachor Pass (4,266m)**. Finally, from **Chilam**, we will go to **Chilas via the Astore Valley**.

Situated in the western reaches of the iconic Himalayan Mountains, Fairy Meadows is widely considered one of Pakistan’s most beautiful places. This lush high plateau, which sits in the north of the country, at the foot of the stunning Nanga Parbat peak, also makes for an incredible trekking destination.

Over the course of our six days together, we will head from the city of Islamabad into the mountains and hike through this gorgeous valley and up to the Nanga Parbat base camp. Along the way, we will enjoy stunning views of various snow-capped Himalayan peaks, thick evergreen forests and the luscious green valley. We may even get the chance to see some of the local wild horses too.

Starting from a village in the valley, we will walk several hours each day, steadily gaining altitude. At one point, we will have the option to summit one of the various peaks surrounding the valley – either Jillipur Peak (5,206m) or Buldar Peak (5,602m) – in order to get even more great views of the surroundings. After reaching the base camp, we will slowly hike back down out of the valley and on to another town. To finish off the trip, we will enjoy a local meal, listen to some music and dance in celebration.

After meeting up in Islamabad, we will either fly to Gilgit, or if we are unable to fly, we will spend the day driving to Chilas. We will spend the night in a local hotel.

Rawalpindi to Chilas

After waking up at 7 am, we will continue driving to the Tato Village, from which we will gear up and begin hiking for about two hours on a fairly easy grade.

Chilas to Fairy Meadows

We will trek for two hours until we reach Beyal Camp. After that we have the day free, with the option to climb Jillipur Peak (5,206m) or Buldar Peak (5,602m).

We will complete the trek early in the morning, arriving at Nanga Parbat Base Camp. Afterwards, we will hike back into the Fairy Meadows, where we will enjoy a traditional dinner, as well as music and dancing.

The last two days of the trip will be spent returning back to Islamabad, via either Naran or Besham, depending on weather conditions.

How would you like to discover one of the most amazing mountaineering locations in the world? On this **21-day trek in Pakistan**, we will take you to the awe-inspiring **Gondogoro Pass** and to the **K2 Base Camp** in the **Karakoram Range**.

At 5,585 m (18,323 ft), the Gondogoro Pass lies just 25 km (15.5 mi) away from the stunning K2 peak, which at an altitude of 8,611 m (28,251 ft) is the second-highest mountain in the world. This breathtaking pass connects the **Gondogoro and Vigne glaciers**, as well as the **Baltoro Glacier** and the **Hushe Valley**. On this 21-day expedition, we will get the chance to explore and admire this beautiful pass, which some consider has some of the most amazing mountain scenery in the world. Additionally, we will also visit the famous K2 Base Camp at an altitude of 5135 m. (16847 ft).

The whole adventure will last 21 days. We will meet in Islamabad on the first day and from there we will set off. One of the main attractions of this trek is the “Concordia 4700m” glacier, which we will get to on day 10.  The whole journey will be awe-inspiring and unforgettable!

Situated in the heart of the Pakistani Himalayan Mountains, at the very north of the country, Spantik Peak is a remote but popular high altitude destination.

Rising to 7,027 meters in elevation, the locals refer to Spantik as the Golden Pillar, for the incredible golden-yellow hue the mountain turns during the sunset. Over the course of four weeks, we will make our way from Islamabad up to the mountain. Along the way, we will enjoy an incredibly scenic approach through verdant valleys surrounded by snowcapped peaks. Afterward, expect a long and challenging ascent through glaciated valleys and up behind the peak.

The plan will be to ascend Spantik from the north, which is known as the normal route. This does not require much technical mountaineering know-how (in fact, Spantik is considered the easiest 7,000 meter high peak to climb anywhere in the world), but is still very physically challenging. After a grueling, but rewarding climb, we’ll enjoy the phenomenal views from the top before beginning our descent and returning to Islamabad.
