Sales Support

Explore-Share, an online booking platform for guided adventures around the world, is looking for a Sales Support to join its team remotely. The platform lists more than 13,000 outdoor trips in more than 100 countries, all of them led by over 2000 local certified guides. Our team is based all over the world, with offices in Buenos Aires and Brussels.

The role: This person will do a variety of tasks to enable the rest of the team to focus in converting the sales. These tasks may vary depending on the time of the year, the specific project you are working on, the sub-team needing help at the moment, among others. You will collaborate with different people within the team based on all this.

Tasks
- Answer messages received via email, contact forms or WhatsApp to make the first personalized contact with the users while delivering great customer service.
- Assign responses to the correspondent Sales Executive/s and/or arrange meetings/calls for them with the client.
- Answer incoming calls.
- Filter and assign emails.
- Send informative or follow-up emails to clients according to what they discussed with the Sales Executive/s during a conversation.
- Filter and (re)organize the “bookings to follow up today” of the Sales Executive/s.
- Call, WhatsApp and email guides to get their confirmation of availability and price for a request as soon as possible.
- Call, WhatsApp and email guides to get the information the Sales Executive/s needs about a request.
- Contact guides outside our platform to know if they can guide our users when none of our guides is available.
- Manage any other administrative task asked by the Sales Executive/s or the Head of Sales, such as searching for information about a region, trip or guide inside or outside the company’s system, website and documents; complete forms and excel sheets; periodically review and “clean” the bookings system by removing follow-up dates, tags or cancelling requests; etc.
- Help compose great customer emails, messages and any other tools to help the team to convert more.
- Report specific requests asked by the Sales Executive/s to the Development Team using the appropriate channels.
- Data entry to complete the information of the Guides profiles in our system.
- Interact with other members of the Sales Team to find common strategies and synergy to improve teamwork.
- Work closely with the other teams to help streamline the booking process and ask for their help when needed. You will also share the insights you gain during your interactions with customers to help improve our processes.

Objectives*
- Keep an average response rate of 4 hours or less.
- Review and re(organize) all the follow-up today requests for the Sales Executive/s before the start of their working day.
- Review and assign emails within 1 hour of received during working hours.
- Review and assign answers from clients within 1 hour of received during working hours.
- Meet the deadlines set by the Sales Executive/s or Head of Sales for specific tasks or projects.
*Since we are continuously improving the sales process and the way the team is organised, these objectives might change in the future.

Requirements
- Work on a regular timetable early in the mornings.
- Have great communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- To be highly organized, task-oriented and detail-oriented.
- Work on weekend watches, to be coordinated with the team (1 day).
- Achieve all the objectives on a regular basis.
- Work on every task described in the job position on a regular basis.
- Contribute to a positive work environment both in the team and in the company by properly communicating with other team members and help them when needed.
- Adapt to changes in processes and strategies that the company may require, and acknowledge mistakes to find good solutions.
- Be aligned with the company’s and the team’s objectives and processes to contribute to the best global performance.
- Upper intermediate level or higher in English

Senior Sales Executive

Explore-Share, an online booking platform for guided adventures around the world, is looking for a Senior Sales Executive to join its team remotely. The platform lists more than 13,000 outdoor trips in more than 100 countries, all of them led by over 2000 local certified guides. Our team is based all over the world, with offices in Buenos Aires and Brussels. 

At Explore-Share we believe outdoor adventures enrich people’s lives and that experienced, local guides help make these experiences unique. 

The role: the ideal candidate for this position is a bilingual Spanish-English speaker who has a passion for mountaineering, a background in Sales and Tourism and that enjoys connecting to clients and delivering exceptional customer service. 

The person we are looking for is highly optimistic and self-confident, excited to develop new strategies to sell more and gets a kick out of closing sales to achieve their target and the team’s, helping the company to meet its objectives. 

You will contact clients and guides on a regular basis, and you will be the leader of your own sub-team, so having a strong sense of ownership is a must. 

The objective of this role is to close as many sales as possible. You will also help with the streamlining of Sales processes in order to help sustain our growth. 

You should be available to work 8 hours per day Monday to Friday on a flexible timetable and on weekend shifts. It’s 100% remote work so you need to be able to work with accountability. 

What you will do: 

- Call, WhatsApp and email our users to assist them during the booking process and make sure they have all the information they need to finalize their bookings. 

- Convert a high rate of inquiries into sales while delivering great customer service.

- Help compose great customer emails, messages and any other tools to help the team to convert more. 

- Provide assistance to customers and guides after the sale, taking care of any issues or needs that they may have before, during or after the trip. 

- Interact with other members of the Sales Team to find common strategies and synergy to improve teamwork. 

- Work closely with the other teams to help streamline the booking process and ask for their help when needed. You will also share the insights you gain during your interactions with customers to help improve our processes. 

- Look and analyse statistics and metrics on a regular basis to detect low points, opportunities and areas of improvement. 

- Develop your region by building a great relationship with the guides, gaining expertise in the different areas and trips, developing strategies to get more bookings, etc., and being responsible for improving the sales in that region. 

- Lead your sub-team by organizing the sub-team tasks, delegating, training other people and setting the example for the other members on your sub-team, always aligned with the team’s objectives and processes. 

Mandatory requirements: 

● Advanced level of English and Spanish 

● Availability full-time and able to work passive guard on weekends. 

● Availability to work with customers in Europe (UTC +2 or +3) 

● Having excellent communication skills in English/Spanish and a passion for delivering excellent customer service, enjoying contacting clients via different channels including phone calls. 

● Previous experience working autonomously and/or as a Freelancer is highly valued. ● Being able to learn quickly and work in a dynamic environment
