Description

This adventure I will guide you on is the perfect way to spend an afternoon with friends and family indulging in a thrilling and adrenaline-pumping activity, as we whitewater raft our way down the majestic Esera river in the heart of the Aragones Pyrenees, taking on stretches of river ranging from wild and technical to tranquil and peaceful, all while admiring the sumptuous Spanish scenery.

The Aragonese Pyrenees are located in Northeast Spain, and make up a section of the wider Pyrenees Mountains. The river Esera is close to the city of Huesca, as well as the border with France, and is an increasingly popular spot for whitewater rafting and other outdoor activities.

After our initial meeting, where we will run through all relevant safety gear and information, it is then time to hit the water.

The river is mostly a Class II grading, meaning there are regular, gentle waves and currents that can form more technical sections.

This ensures that it is suitable for people of all levels of ability, especially families, and that there can be ample time devoted to admiring and taking in the spectacular natural environment and scenery around us.

There are also some Class III grading sections, entailing more obstacles and trickier conditions to raft around, making for a suitably thrilling and exciting adventure.

Throughout the course of the afternoon there will be ample time to soak up the views of the sublime landscape, scenery and terrain around us, with this area of the Aragones Pyrenees still relatively untouched and pristine, ensuring there is still an abundance of raw natural beauty.

Our afternoon of adventure finishes in Santaliestra, hopefully having made you fall in love even more with the fantastic part of Spain.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
