Description

One of the most expansive and magical places in not only North America, but the whole world, is the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Located in northern Alaska, this refuge is enormous, with over 19 million square acres of pure natural beauty. And while it would be impossible to hike through the entire area, for 10 days, we will cover as much of it as possible by walking for about 8 hours a day, covering approximately 10 kilometres.

Within the refuge, you will feel like you’ve entered a different world, a world human beings have yet to touch. The nature is so pure and so exquisite that you will constantly be in a state of awe and wonder. Yet, despite the isolation of the refuge, it is still remarkably accessible. There are a number of fantastic paths and routes to take, and each one is comfortable to choose from, and each one presents its own long list of unforgettable highlights.

There is just so much to see in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, otherwise known as the ANWR, that every moment of every day will provide you with something new and exciting. You will get to see lagoons, salt marshes, rivers like the Jago and the Hulahula, lakes, peaks and endless tundra. And within those places you will get to admire the amazing wildlife that call the ANWR home. From polar bears, wolverines and swans to lynx, eagles and herds of caribou, and so much more.

The richness, the beauty, the sheer amazement of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is beyond words. It is the kind of place what one thinks of when they want to define natural beauty. And to see it for yourself, all you have to do is send us a request, and we’ll happily do the rest.

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!
