Highlights

Avoriaz is part of Les Portes du Soleil, one of the major ski domains in the Alps. In this one-day tour you will explore this stunning area focusing on freeride ski or ski touring. It is your choice!

Les Portes du Soleil (french for “The Gateway to the Sun”) is a huge ski area stretching from Mont Blanc in France to Lake Geneva in Switzerland. It has thirteen ski resorts. The most modern one is Avoriaz, which offers an easy access to freeride area and ski touring.

In both freeride and touring we will use skins to reach wilder places.

If you prefer freeride ski, we will access the most beautiful off-piste runs from the lifts. We will find off-piste areas where you can enjoy powder with the safety of the pisted runs.

If you are up for the ski touring experience, we will walk and climb far away from the crowd to find the best untracked terrain. I guarantee backcountry skiing on a huge powder field surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes.

You can also arrange for more days and we can visit some of the other resorts of Les Portes du Soleil: Morzine, Chatel, Champéry, Les Crosets and Morgins.

So, if you want to discover the essence of skiing in the French Alps, contact me! If you love powder snow, you will love this trip!

I am also offering an off-piste skiing trip in the unique Vallee Blanche, check it out!

    About the Guide

The Jura massif is an ideal place to learn and grow your experience in alpine techniques. I practice mountaineering, ski touring and ice climbing in the winter. I am also located very close to the Swiss and French alpine massifs.

First, I started as a ski rescuer. My passion for skiing and climbing helped me discover the classic routes in the mythical summits of the Alps. The first mountain courses I went on with friends as a guide - which I did with a lot of effort, doubts and perseverance - were much needed to build my experience. Still, they also gave me a lot of joy, and I was able to pursue them while laughing and creating beautiful moments shared.

My experience and terrain knowledge will allow you to move safely and enjoy your time, without a promise of the summit but of sharing a privileged and unique moment in the mountains.

Finally, I'm a fully certified IFMGA mountain guide.

What People are Saying about Benjamin Soufflot

One week in a winter fairy tale. With a lot of fresh snow, freeriding all over the mountains, from top till the end of forests. Happy time to have such powder conditions like it was in our childhood...
